Who We Are
Inspire Scotland was established in August 2012 by a group of passionate people with 50 years combined experience in Residential School Care, Foster Care, Criminal Justice, Inspection and Regulation.
Inspire Scotland was recently confirmed on the National Framework for Children’s Residential Care and Education Services, which places us in partnership with all 32 Scottish Local Authorities. We also work with several English Local Authorities.
We are experienced in supporting young people who are living with a wide variety of complex issues. Where possible we work closely with families and offer young people a range of opportunities to reach positive destinations in education, training and employment.
Our staff have access to comprehensive training which includes mandatory training and professional qualifications to meet SSSC regulation requirements and client specific training to meet the needs of young people. The value we place on building positive relationships with young people is consistent with the new National Care Standards, Getting It Right for Every Child and the principals of Social Pedagogy which underpins our approach.
Partnership working is fundamental to our approach. These partnerships include: families, local authorities and health services. We have developed close working relationships with:

- Princes Trust
