About:

Green Pastures is a thoughtfully designed detached residence, nestled in a peaceful rural location between Lanark and Lesmahagow. Offering a safe and calming environment, the home is surrounded by open countryside providing an ideal setting for relaxation, privacy, and personal growth. The property features generously sized bedrooms, a cosy and welcoming living area, and a spacious dining room where everyone can come together to enjoy meals and shared experiences. Outside, a large garden with an expansive decked area—furnished with outdoor seating—creates the perfect space for summer activities, from garden games to barbecues with staff and peers. With no close neighbours, the peaceful setting ensures a high level of privacy, allowing young people to enjoy the freedom of their own front and back gardens in a quiet and secure environment. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated in vibrant, expressive colours that reflect the individuality and personality of the young people who live there. Despite its rural location, Green Pastures benefits from excellent access to a range of local amenities, including schools, libraries, shops, and leisure facilities. The town of Lanark is just a 15-minute drive away, and the property is well-connected via reliable rail and bus services.

Our Approach:

We focus on building trusting relationships, promoting emotional wellbeing, and supporting each young person to develop confidence, resilience, and life skills. Our team is dedicated to delivering child-centred care that meets individual needs and encourages personal growth. We specialise in assisting young people facing emotional, social, and behavioural challenges, creating a space where they can heal, grow, and build resilience. Whether a young person stays with us for a short-term placement, long-term care, or respite, we tailor our support to meet their individual needs and personal journey.
