Inspire is an award-winning leader in residential care, providing children and young people with supportive and enriching home lives across Scotland and England.
Registered with OFSTED in England, and the National Framework for Children’s Residential Care and Education Services in Scotland, we work in partnership with local authorities and a broad network of partners including schools, colleges and health services, and a number of national bodies.
Inspire services offer a holistic and therapeutic approach to care, education, and health and wellbeing, supporting children and young people with a wide variety of individual needs to develop positive home lives and relationships, moving towards independence and flourishing futures.
We have a dedicated education team with qualified expertise in all levels of school-based education in the UK. They are responsible for ensuring the best possible educational outcomes for every child and young person. They also provide support for young people ready to transition to the world of work, and guide our young people towards the futures they all deserve, supporting them through their transition from residential care to independent living. Our ‘Keeping in Touch’ policy also recognises the interdependence in all healthy relationships and Inspire promotes the maintenance of these relationships beyond a young person's time with us.
We are privileged to now deliver care to over 55 children and young people across 15 different sites in Scotland and England. In 2021 our annual engagement survey results showed 86% of our children and young people are happy with the care they receive and are well looked after.
Guided by our experiences and feedback from our service users, we continually reflect on our practice and strive for excellence to promote the best possible outcomes for children and young people both while they live with us and in their future.
