Nr Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire - part-time 19.25 hrs pw (see rota below)
Nr Crail, Fife - Full-time average 38.5 hrs pw - (FT rota below)
Salary: £24,024 - £26,866 pro rata per year
We are looking for compassionate, resilient individuals who can help provide the care and continuous encouragement our young people deserve. As a Nightshift Residential Childcare Worker, you will oversee the home during the night. Making sure our children and young people are safe in the knowledge that someone is around to look after them.
What you can expect from us:
After 6 months you’ll be encouraged to complete your NVQ 3 or HNC or further qualifications

What we expect from you:
Have previous experience working in a residential or social care setting with young people or adults or personal relevant experience and the right values to make a difference
Have flexibility in the roles undertaken
Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm in difficult situations
Obtained, or willing to work towards HNC / NVQ 3 in Heath & Social or equivalent

To give you an idea of what a part-time 19.25hr pw / full-time rota might look like this would roughly be 9:30pm - 8:30am:
Week 1 – 3 nights / 5 nights
Week 2 – 2 nights / 3 nights
Week 3 – Off / 2 nights
Week 4 – 2 nights / 4 nights
