JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hourly Rate
£12.00- £13.42 depending on experience and qualifications.
MAIN FUNCTION
The Residential Child Care Worker will have a commitment to Inspire Scotland values, work as part of a team to meet the care needs of an identified group of young people. He/she will be expected to work towards the maintenance of the highest professional standards of social care practice. He/she will ensure that the aims and objectives of Inspire Scotland are met.

The post holder must hold a valid driving license however, a qualification in social care is not essential but there would be an expectation to achieve this within a certain time frame.

Because of the nature of its work with children and young people, Inspire Scotland uses the Disclosure Scotland Service (PVG) to make checks at an enhanced level on all persons whose work or proposed work will involve regular contact with or working in close proximity to children and young people in our care.
